Celebrate Christmas at Plains Baptist Church

Come and experience the joy of Christmas as we celebrate the Savior who came to bring hope, peace, and salvation to the entire world. Join us Sunday Morning, December 14, 2025, at 10 AM for a special Christmas program that lifts our hearts to Jesus and reminds us why His coming still changes lives today.

This year’s program, Joy Has Come, the Savior Is Born, brings together Scripture, music, and a children's drama to point us to the incredible truth of Christ’s coming.

Children’s Presentation: Stories of the Savior
The morning begins with a children’s play that traces God’s plan of redemption from Creation to Christ’s birth. Through scenes featuring Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, David, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and others, the children share how the story of the Savior began long before Bethlehem. Each part highlights God’s promise to send the Redeemer, and how that promise was fulfilled in Jesus. 

Adult Choir Presentation: Messiah (Heaven’s Glory)
Following the children’s program, the Plains Baptist Church Choir will present selections from Messiah (Heaven’s Glory) arranged by Russell Mauldin. These songs magnify the glory of Christ and celebrate the joy of His coming.

• Joy to the World

A Message of Salvation: Joy Has Come
Pastor will conclude the morning with a gospel message centered on the Savior who was born to redeem, restore, and bring light to a world in need. It is a clear invitation to understand the true hope found only in Jesus Christ: hope available to all.

Children’s Activities
After the Children’s Play, all children ages 3 years through 6th grade will go downstairs for a special Children’s Church time with age-appropriate Bible teaching and Christmas activities.
